Cement Manufacturing and its Technical and Engineering Specifications

The Yemeni Engineers Syndicate, Aden branch, launched a specialized training course entitled “Cement Manufacturing and its Technical and Engineering Specifications,” under the patronage of Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, Minister of State and Governor of Aden Governorate, and funded by Seera Cement Company Limited.

The course targeted 85 engineers from government departments, consulting offices, and concrete companies in Aden Governorate.  It was presented by engineer Abdulaziz Bamanga and lasted for two consecutive days, aiming to enhance the engineers’ skills and knowledge of modern technical specifications and engineering standards in the manufacturing and use of cement in construction projects.

This course is part of a series of training activities implemented by the Engineers Syndicate to develop the capabilities of engineering professionals and provide them with the latest information and technologies in the fields of building materials and cement manufacturing.

The opening ceremony was attended by Engineer Kutbi Omar Kutbi, Advisor to the Governor of Aden; Mr. Ali Jarhoum, Head of the General Investment Authority; Mr. Mohammed Omar Baqatian, Marketing and Sales Manager at Seera Cement Company; and representatives of the Engineers Syndicate in Aden Governorate.

The event was held on November 5, 2025, at Panorama Hotel.
